About
Euonymus macropterus is a large, spreading, deciduous shrub to around 3 m with broadly oval, finely toothed, dark-green leaves with pale undersides. Clusters of small, greenish flowers in late spring are followed by deep-pink, four-winged seed capsules splitting open to reveal bright-orange seeds. A striking spindle for autumn fruiting display.
