About
Joy's Purple' is a bulbous perennial forming a rosette of strap-shaped leaves, green at first then developing bronze and purple tints. The dark bronze flower stem, to about 60cm, supports a spire of star-shaped blooms opening deep pink from purple buds in late summer, with a small tuft of leaves on top.
