About

Eucalyptus urnigera, the urn-fruited gum, is a modestly sized evergreen tree to around 15 m with smooth, peeling bark ranging from grey to cream to orange and rounded, blue-green juvenile leaves giving way to tapering, intensely green adult leaves. White flowers appear in clusters of three in spring and summer, held on long stalks with distinctive, urn-shaped buds and fruits giving rise to the common name. A beautiful and ornamental eucalyptus for a sheltered garden.
