About

Eucalyptus perriniana, the spinning gum, is an open to moderately dense, small tree or large shrub to 410 m with smooth, flaking, off-white to grey or green bark. Rounded, blue-green, glaucous juvenile leaves are joined together around the stem (giving rise to the common name), while adult leaves are pendent, lance-shaped and to 12 cm. Domed clusters of 3 white or cream flowers appear through summer. A popular and ornamental eucalyptus for its distinctive juvenile foliage.
