About

Eucalyptus kybeanensis, the Kybean mallee ash, is a slow-growing, hardy evergreen tree to around 7 m with rich chocolate-brown bark with white striations, revealing lighter brown bark beneath when shed. Lance-shaped, bronze-purple juvenile foliage matures to glossy, dark-green adult leaves, lightly aromatic. Honey-scented white flowers appear from late autumn through winter. An ornamental and cold-tolerant eucalyptus for a well-drained garden.
