About

Majestic evergreen tree to 60m tall, endemic to SE coastal areas of Australia. White flowers in umbels from midsummer to autumn, followed by rounded or barrel-shaped woody fruits. Pale green ovate juvenile leaves 7cm long become glossy green lanceolate adult leaves 20cm long. Rough, thin, flaky bark mottled grey, and white or grey-brown patches, smooth bark on upper branches is white, cream or grey shedding in ribbons.
