About
Majestic, evergreen tree or multi-stemmed shrub, endemic to SE Australia, reaching 40m tall, with rough, fibrous, stringy, deeply furrowed, grey or brown bark. Juvenile leaves are ovate, distinctively pointed and covered with fine hairs, adult leaves broadly curved, and glossy green. White flowers appear from late summer to autumn, followed by rounded woody fruit.
