Erythronium caucasicum is a bulbous woodland perennial from the Caucasus and northern Iran producing the characteristic paired, mottled foliage and nodding, white to pale-pink, reflexed-petal flowers of the genus in spring. A beautiful and easily grown dog's-tooth violet for moist, humus-rich, partly shaded woodland conditions.
