About

A tough, clump-forming perennial to about 60cm tall forming a basal mound of rounded, dark green leaves, from which rise stiff, branched, blue-tinged stems bearing small, steely-blue, oval flowerheads with spiny, narrow, silvery-blue bracts in summer and early autumn. Long-lasting as cut flowers and striking in a sunny, well-drained border.
