Ervatamia divaricata, the East Indian rosebay, is a compact evergreen shrub to around 2 m with glossy, dark-green, oval leaves and clusters of pure-white, intensely fragrant, pinwheel-shaped flowers to around 3 cm across, produced throughout the warmer months. A beautiful and fragrant shrub for a frost-free garden or large heated conservatory.
