About
A large, evergreen tree to about 25m tall from southeastern Australia (Argyle apple, cider gum relative) with strikingly ornamental, rounded to heart-shaped, intensely silver-blue, waxy, clasping juvenile leaves that persist for many years, and scaly, grey-brown bark. White flowers open in late spring. Widely grown as one of the most ornamental eucalypts for bold, silver-blue foliage.
