About
A clump-forming, deciduous, herbaceous peony from southern Spain and Morocco, to about 90cm tall with smooth, deeply divided, dark green, distinctly leathery (coriacea) leaves and large, single, rose-pink to lilac-pink flowers with a central boss of yellow stamens in late spring to early summer. A handsome, drought-tolerant peony for well-drained, alkaline soils in a sunny position.
