About

A deciduous perennial forming spreading clumps of sturdy, upright stems to 1.5m tall clothed in broad, lance-shaped leaves up to 16cm long. In summer the stems are topped with flat, wide heads of small, yellow-centred white flowers that are followed by silvery, fluffy seedheads in autumn.
