A densely leafed (densifolia) variety of the alpine Forstera, forming a very compact, cushion-like mat of tiny, overlapping, bright green leaves and bearing very small, pink or white, tubular flowers in summer. A rare and choice miniature for a cool, moist, well-drained alpine trough.
