A compact, evergreen shrub to about 1m tall from the dry, coastal hills of Chile and Peru with narrow, dark green leaves and masses of small, bright yellow, funnel-shaped flowers in spring. A free-flowering and drought-tolerant shrub for a warm, sunny, well-drained position in mild conditions.
