Dierama robustum, the robust wandflower, is a vigorous, clump-forming, evergreen perennial to 1.5 m with tough, narrow, evergreen leaves and tall, arching stems bearing hanging sprays of pale-pink, bell-shaped flowers with silvery bracts in mid to late summer. A bold and graceful wandflower for a sunny, well-drained border.

Dierama, the wandflowers or African hairbells, are evergreen, clump-forming cormous perennials with long, narrow leaves and slender, arching stems bearing nodding, bell-shaped flowers in shades of pink, mauve, purple or white in summer. Among the most graceful of all South African garden plants.
