Dierama jucundum, the delightful wandflower, is an evergreen perennial to around 1 m tall with long, narrow leaves and graceful, arching flower stems bearing small clusters of deep purple-pink, bell-shaped flowers hanging on very fine, wire-like stems. A charming and elegant wandflower for a sunny, well-drained border.

Dierama, the wandflowers or African hairbells, are evergreen, clump-forming cormous perennials with long, narrow leaves and slender, arching stems bearing nodding, bell-shaped flowers in shades of pink, mauve, purple or white in summer. Among the most graceful of all South African garden plants.
