A compact, evergreen, dwarf shrub to about 30cm tall from the mountains of Taiwan with small, ovate, dark green leaves and small, urn-shaped, pink-tinged flowers followed by small, dark berries. A rare and choice alpine Vaccinium for cool, moist, acidic conditions in a rock garden or peat bed.
