Dianthus deltoides, the maiden pink, is an evergreen perennial forming a spreading mat of green foliage to around 20 cm tall, producing masses of cerise, deep crimson, pink or white flowers 18 mm across on slender stems throughout summer. A vigorous and free-flowering pink for a sunny, well-drained rock garden, wall or border front.
