About

Deschampsia cespitosa, tufted hair grass, is a graceful, large, tufted, evergreen grass forming dense, arching, dark-green mounds to around 60 cm tall. In early summer, airy, shimmering panicles of tiny, silvery-green to golden-brown spikelets rise to 150 cm, catching the light and movement beautifully.
