About
Cornus sericea 'Bud's Yellow' is a robust, deciduous shrub that can reach heights of 2.5 meters. It features yellow-green stems that stand out during the winter months and has green, oval leaves that can grow to 11 centimeters in length. In early summer, it produces clusters of small yellowish-white flowers, which can measure up to 7 centimeters in diameter. These are succeeded by round white berries that appear in late summer.

Cornus includes a variety of deciduous shrubs and trees, as well as prostrate, woody perennials, some featuring vibrant young stems. The small flowers appear in compact clusters, occasionally accompanied by prominent bracts. Several species display attractive foliage in the fall.
