About
"Cornus kousa 'Pévé Foggy' is a compact shrub, reaching up to 3 meters tall. Its leaves are slender and variegated green, featuring narrow, undulating edges in grey or white that create a fog-like effect. In the fall, the foliage transforms to shades of red and orange. During late May and June, it produces slender bracts that range from greenish to creamy-white, surrounding a small cluster of central flowers. In autumn, the plant bears red, strawberry-like fruits."
About the genus
Cornus includes a variety of deciduous shrubs and trees, as well as prostrate, woody perennials, some featuring vibrant young stems. The small flowers appear in compact clusters, occasionally accompanied by prominent bracts. Several species display attractive foliage in the fall.
