About
Cornus kousa 'Nicole' is an upright, spreading shrub or small tree that can reach a height of up to 5 meters. The leaves are ovate with a wavy margin, initially dark green and transitioning to shades of red and purple in the fall. Surrounding the small greenish flowerhead are distinctive white bracts that resemble petals. In autumn, the plant produces red, strawberry-like fruit.

Cornus includes a variety of deciduous shrubs and trees, as well as prostrate, woody perennials, some featuring vibrant young stems. The small flowers appear in compact clusters, occasionally accompanied by prominent bracts. Several species display attractive foliage in the fall.
