About
Cornus kousa 'Melanie' PBR is a robust, upright shrub that can reach heights of up to 3 meters. Its leaves are variegated, featuring an oval shape with pointed tips and a slightly ruffled margin that is either pure white or cream, providing a contrast to the green center. This plant displays attractive autumn foliage. The slender bracts, resembling star shapes, are greenish-white or very pale green with a narrow white edge surrounding a small green flower cluster, creating a delicate appearance against the leaves. In the fall, it produces red, strawberry-like fruits.
