About
Cornus kousa 'Bultinck's Giant' is a compact, upright tree that typically grows to around 4 meters in height. Its leaves are thick, glossy, and dark green, transitioning to shades of red-purple in the fall. The tree produces clusters of small, greenish flowers that are enveloped by large, creamy-white bracts. This is followed by the development of edible fruit resembling deep pink strawberries.

Cornus includes a variety of deciduous shrubs and trees, as well as prostrate, woody perennials, some featuring vibrant young stems. The small flowers appear in compact clusters, occasionally accompanied by prominent bracts. Several species display attractive foliage in the fall.
