About

Columnea hirta is a trailing subshrub characterized by its hairy stems and densely hairy leaves that reach lengths of up to 4 cm. It produces tubular flowers, measuring about 7 cm, in a vibrant orange-red hue during the summer months. This plant thrives as a houseplant, making it suitable for hanging baskets or positioned on high shelves where its tendrils can cascade downwards.
