Cochlearia pyrenaica is a compact, semi-evergreen perennial that typically grows to heights of 10 to 30 cm. It features kidney-shaped leaves at its base and produces clusters of small white flowers from May to August in the UK. Although not commonly grown, this plant can enhance rock or alpine gardens that mimic its natural moist, rocky environments.
