About the genus

Cneorum consists of evergreen shrubs or small trees characterized by their simple, leathery foliage. The plants produce small flowers, either solitary or in clusters, featuring three or four petals, which emerge in the leaf axils. These flowers are succeeded by fruits that are divided into three lobes.
