About
Clematis 'Fascination' PBR (I) is a deciduous, clump-forming perennial that reaches a height of approximately 1.2 meters. It features elliptical green foliage and produces nodding, bell-shaped flowers in a glossy purple-blue hue, accented by recurved outer sepals and creamy-white anthers. This variety blooms in the summer months and is followed by feathery, silvery seedheads.
About the genus

Care notes
- Cultivation
- Plant in moisture-retentive, well-drained soil, with the roots and base of the plant kept cool and shaded by other plants or a layer of pebbles at the base. Plant with the crown 5-8cm deep to encourage new shoots to grow from below ground level. Can be grown in containers at least 45cm deep and wide in a peat-free, loam-based potting compost.
