About
Clematis 'Duchess of Albany' is a robust, deciduous vine that grows to a height of approximately 3-4 meters. It features mid-green foliage and produces predominantly upright, single flowers that are tulip-shaped and a clear pink color, measuring up to 6 centimeters in length. Each flower has tepals that curve back, displaying a darker pink stripe down the center. This variety blooms from mid-summer through late summer.

- Plant in moisture-retentive, well-drained soil, with the roots and base of the plant kept cool and shaded by other plants or a layer of pebbles at the base. Plant with the crown 5-8cm deep to encourage new shoots to grow from below ground level. See clematis cultivation
