Clematis 'Annemieke' is a robust climbing plant that can reach heights of approximately 4 meters. It features finely divided foliage and produces small, nodding flowers in a soft yellow hue. The petals are reflexed and twisted, accented by noticeable purple-brown stamens. Blooming occurs from mid-summer through early autumn, after which it develops elongated, silky seed heads that remain attractive for an extended period.

- Cultivation
- Plant in a moisture-retentive, well-drained soil, with the roots and base of the plant kept cool and shaded by other plants or a layer of pebbles at the base. Plant with the crown 5-8cm (2-3in) deep to encourage new shoots to grow from below ground level. See clematis cultivation
