About
Citrus x limon 'Garey's Eureka' is a lemon variety that produces fruit and flowers nearly year-round. It displays abundant white blossoms, with a hint of purple at the bud stage, from spring through early autumn. This cultivar is self-fertile and is commonly grown through grafting. In its initial years, the plant can be quite thorny. Over a decade, it can achieve a height of around 2 meters.
About the genus
Citrus consists mainly of evergreen shrubs and trees, which are often armed with spines. They feature simple, leathery leaves that release a pleasing fragrance, typically borne on winged petioles. The plants produce aromatic flowers that are usually white or have a hint of pink, which are succeeded by sizable, juicy fruits.
