About

Cissus trifoliata is a robust climbing plant characterized by its tendrils and shiny leaves, which are segmented into three lobed leaflets. When crushed, the leaves emit an unpleasant odor.

About the genus

Cissus includes a range of plants such as perennials, shrubs, and climbing varieties. These species may feature succulent stems or root systems, and they display evergreen foliage that can be simple or palmately lobed. After flowering, they produce clusters of unremarkable flowers that give way to small berries.
