About

Cissus quadrangularis is a succulent vine characterized by its thick, jointed stems that are square in cross-section. The plant produces sparse, rounded leaves that can reach up to 5 cm in length and have a slightly fleshy texture.

About the genus

Cissus includes a range of plants such as perennials, shrubs, and climbing varieties. These species may feature succulent stems or root systems, and they display evergreen foliage that can be simple or palmately lobed.
