About

Cissus antarctica is a robust, tropical evergreen vine featuring glossy, serrated, heart-shaped foliage. While it climbs by means of tendrils, it is frequently grown in hanging baskets, where it can cascade elegantly. This plant thrives in areas with partial shade, making it suitable for indoor environments.

About the genus

Cissus includes a range of plants such as perennials, shrubs, and climbing varieties. These species may feature succulent stems or root systems, and they display evergreen foliage that can be simple or palmately lobed. After flowering, they produce clusters of unremarkable flowers that give way to small berries.
