About

Chlorophytum orchidastrum 'Green Orange' is a perennial evergreen typically cultivated indoors. It forms a compact clump measuring around 40cm, featuring elongated, dark green leaves that taper to a fine point, supported by pale pinkish-orange stems. During the spring and summer months, it produces short, nearly stemless spikes adorned with greenish-white, star-shaped flowers that emerge from the center of the clump.

About the genus

Chlorophytum consists of evergreen, rhizomatous perennials characterized by narrow, linear or lanceolate leaves. These plants feature slender, arching stems that support loose clusters or panicles of small white flowers, which may appear star-like in some species. Certain varieties also produce plantlets.
