About

This dwarf conifer grows gradually, reaching heights of approximately 1.5 meters over a decade. It features clusters of small, scale-like leaves that are dark green on the surface and white underneath. The plant develops a conical shape, resulting in a compact, flattened mound of foliage.

About the genus

Chamaecyparis consists of evergreen trees that typically exhibit a narrow ovoid or columnar shape. They feature densely branched sprays of diminutive scale-like foliage and produce small, rounded cones. In certain cultivars, the tiny red male cones are particularly noticeable.
