Chamaebuxus alpestris 'Loibl' is a low-growing evergreen shrub that reaches a height of up to 15 cm. It features small, narrow, lanceolate leaves that are deep green in color. In late spring and early summer, this plant produces bright purple flowers, each with yellow-tipped keel petals.
