About

Cedrus deodara 'Silver Mist' is a compact conifer that reaches approximately 1.2 meters in height after ten years. It features a broadly conical shape with branches that extend horizontally and drooping shoots. In spring, fresh growth appears creamy white before transitioning to a green hue as it matures.

About the genus

Cedrus consists of substantial evergreen trees characterized by needle-like foliage that forms a spiral pattern on young branches and appears in whorls on shorter spur-like shoots. The ovoid cones disintegrate to disperse seeds while remaining attached to the tree.
