About

Catopsis morreniana is an evergreen bromeliad that can grow as an epiphyte or, on occasion, as a terrestrial plant, reaching a height of approximately 40 cm. It forms a compact rosette consisting of up to 20 elongated, mid-green leaves, each measuring around 18 cm in length and featuring narrow white edges, with a lighter coloration near the base. During the summer months, it produces upright panicles that can extend up to 20 cm, adorned with bracts that have white margins and white flowers.

Care notes

Cultivation
Grow as a houseplant or conservatory plant in pots of epiphytic or terrrestrial bromeliad compost in bright, indirect light. During summer, keep the rosettes filled with soft water, mist daily, and apply a quarter strength foliar fertiliser every 4-5 weeks. Keep just moist in winter.
