Care notes

Cultivation
Will grow well in moist but well-drained soil in a sunny position. Keep moist in dry weather. Mulch in winter to protect it from cold weather.
Pruning
Remove dead culms as and when needed. Cut down culms to the ground in autumn to stimulate new growth in tired plants.
