Camelina sativa is a herbaceous annual that typically grows to heights of 30 cm to 1.2 m, spreading up to 30 cm. It has an upright, branching growth form. The leaves are lanceolate in shape, and from May to July, it produces small, pale yellow flowers with four petals.
