Beschorneria yuccoides Flamingo Glow ('Besys' PBR) is a perennial plant characterized by its rosettes of evergreen, succulent leaves that reach heights of 0.5 to 1 meter. The leaves are lance-shaped and display a variegation of yellow and grey-green. As the plant matures, it can produce tall stems, extending up to 1.5 meters, adorned with lime-green flowers complemented by mauve-pink bracts, typically blooming in midsummer.

Beschorneria consists of sizable, clump-forming evergreen perennials characterized by strap-like, somewhat fleshy foliage. In late spring or early summer, they produce nodding tubular flowers arranged in arching racemes, accompanied by prominent red bracts.

Cultivation
In warmer areas, grow outside in a sheltered position in sharply drained, humus-rich loam, in full sun; in more frost-prone areas, grow in a temperate greenhouse in full light, in standard cactus compost or peat-free John Innes No. 2 with extra grit or fine gravel, and water moderately, with balanced liquid fertiliser once a month, from late spring to summer, and sparingly in winter; for more advice, see hardy cacti and succulent cultivation
