About

Auranticarpa rhombifolia is a small to medium-sized evergreen tree, reaching heights of 13 to 30 meters with a slender canopy. Its leaves are diamond-shaped and arranged alternately, featuring serrated edges in the upper portion and smooth margins near the stem. The bark is characterized by a grey color and an irregular, somewhat corky texture. In the summer, this species produces clusters of bell-shaped white flowers that emit a pleasant fragrance, which are later replaced by vibrant orange berries containing glossy, sticky black seeds.
