About
Aucuba japonica 'Sulphurea Marginata' is an evergreen shrub that grows in a rounded shape, reaching heights of up to 2 meters (6½ feet). Its foliage consists of bright green leaves with distinct, pale yellow edges. As a female cultivar, it produces small purple flowers in spring, which lack stamens. When a male aucuba is present for pollination, these flowers give way to clusters of glossy red, oval berries.
