About the genus
The Atragene Group includes woody vines characterized by their deciduous leaves, which are typically arranged in 1 to 2 ternate patterns. In spring and early summer, they produce nodding, bell-shaped flowers that can reach up to 10 cm in diameter. These flowers may appear on older wood, with occasional blooms on this year's growth as well.
