Arisaema concinnum is a tuberous perennial that reaches heights of about 1.5 meters. It features stolons and a single leaf that is divided into 7 to 13 pointed leaflets. In early summer, it showcases a hooded spathe that can be dark purple or green, resembling a cobra, adorned with white stripes and extending to a thin tail measuring up to 15 centimeters.

Arisaema consists primarily of tuberous perennials characterized by palmately lobed foliage. They feature unique tubular, hooded spathes that enclose small true flowers clustered at the base of a club-shaped or filamentous spadix. After flowering, these plants produce a spike bearing red berries.

Cultivation
Plant the tubers 20cm deep in winter or spring, into moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil in a cool, partially shaded site. Mulch annually in early spring. Outdoors this species requires winter protection, or it can also be grown in deep pots in a cold greenhouse
