Argyranthemum Butterfly ('Ulyssis') is an evergreen subshrub that is sensitive to frost and typically cultivated as an annual. It develops a dense mound of finely cut, grey-green leaves, reaching a height of approximately 45 cm. From late spring through to the first frosts, this plant produces an abundance of single flowers that are lemon-yellow with darker yellow centers, rising above the foliage.

Argyranthemum consists of evergreen perennials or sub-shrubs with a woody base. The leaves can be either simple or finely divided, and the plants produce daisy-like flower heads in white, yellow, or pink from late spring through autumn.
