Anisodontea julii is an upright, slender sub-shrub that can grow up to 3 meters tall and is semi-evergreen to evergreen in nature. Its leaves are lobed and resemble those of a maple, featuring a velvety green texture. During the summer and autumn months, it produces large, cup-shaped flowers that are mauve-pink with dark pink stripes at the center. This species tends to increase in hardiness as it matures.
