In the summer, this plant produces tall spikes that bear racemes of tubular flowers in shades of orange-pink, each measuring approximately 4 to 5 cm long.

- Indoors, grow in a peat-free, loam-based potting compost with added sharp sand, outdoors in frost-free areas grow in well drained soil in full sun.
